Choose a combination of Movement, Strength Training, Pilates, TRX, and Barre, Breathing, Stretching, and Yoga.  Or consider the well-being series designed to create an awareness of our own brain states, help individuals reduce stress, understand the science behind relationship and belonging, and develop the tools necessary to prime their brains for a life of well-being.

Resistance/Strength Training

LIVE IT FITNESS our sessions are PROVEN!  While the workouts are fun, they are still effective. You SWEAT.  You FEEL the MUSCLES WORKING.  You are getting CARDIO all at the same time.  And, the best part is you are regulating and growing brain cells!!

At LIVE IT FITNESS, our goal is to recreate a workout that is FUN and NOVEL! We know the brain loves NOVELTY!!!  We are always changing it up; with TRX, Pilates, Barre, Bands and BOSU no workouts are the same!

We also incorporate those proven standards such as squats, pushups, and lunges (as fitness levels allow).  We offer a broad range of equipment based sessions featuring alternative functional equipment including kettle bells, medicine balls, bands, bosu balls, weighted bars, and the TRX. Finally, as most clients work on their cardio during their own time, I do incorporate cardio into our workouts so you do get a tremendous calorie burn!

Pilates

Pilates has continued to grow in popularity because of the documented benefits not only for fitness enthusiasts but also for those suffering from osteoporisis and other ailments.  Pilates is a form of exercise which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement.  One of the best things about Pilates is that it works so well for such a wide range of people.  The Pilates equipment, with over 600 exercises, is designed to condition the entire body, using positions and movements that stimulate functional activities and thereby correct body alignment and function.  The Pilates Method works to strengthen the center, lengthen the spine, increase body awareness, build muscle tone, and gain flexibility.  It is also an excellent rehabilitation system for back, knee, hip, shoulder and repetitive stress injuries. Pilates addressed the body as a whole, correcting the body’s asymmetries and chronic weaknesses to prevent re-injury and bring the body back into balance.

 

TRX

TRX (Total Body Resistance Exercise)  is for ALL fitness levels and and is almost entirely body-weight based.  Using suspension straps, the system focuses on developing agility, speed, endurance and body resistance. In addition to the dynamic strength work, you will enjoy the amazing benefits that stretching with the TRX can provide. It works out your upper and lower body and can  provide a cardio workout as well. One of the best ways out there to fire up that core.

If you have not tried a Barre workout, you are in for a treat.  A blend of Pilates and traditional ballet moves–you will truly challenge your legs, glutes, core and upper body in a completely impact-free way. No dance background required and no dancing is involved–these are moves designed to get your muscles activated. No question one of the best ways to hit those accessory muscles!

Movement, Breath, and Stretching

A softer, more gentle practice focusing on movement designed to improve your range of motion and elongating your muscles  while  offering  a number of breathing techniques.This restorative approach will calm and reset your body and mind to prepare you for whatever comes your way.

 

Yoga For Stress Relief

Using gentle to mid-level yoga poses, breathing techniques, and meditation, we will focus on relieving and reducing stress and creating a more peaceful state of mind on and off the yoga mat.

A series of individual coaching sessions available to help you achieve a myriad of goals we may have. Is it to be a better leader? Do you feel disconnected from your team at work? Are you feeling helpless because your teenager is feeling anxious at school?  You may choose from these topics are a completely separate topic which you wish to tackle. We are here to walk with you as you position yourself to a place of well being personally and professionally.   You can choose one topic from the series or multiple. We are taking a flexible and versatile approach to our well-being offerings.
